Henry Elliot’s marketing and business development background in the computer software industry spans the educational software, machine translation technology and computer entertainment and sectors. He is currently a Director of two early-stage computer software firms in Cambridge.
He has been intimately involved with zoo issues for many years; he served as a Trustee of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (Edinburgh Zoo and Highland Wildlife Park) 1998-01 and 2003-09, Chairman of the Trustees 2000-01 and 2003-08, and Chief Executive 2001-02.
His principal areas of interest are in developing business, management and governance, in order to further WWCT’s conservation and educational aims.
Henry Elliot lives near Cullompton with his wife and two teenage children. He enjoys playing violin and guitar, going to concerts and the theatre, and improving his (too large) garden.
