Photographer’s yaki donation

A top wildlife photographer has made a significant donation to one of the Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust’s flagship projects.

David J Slater has donated £500 to the Selamatkan Yaki project. David is famous for his monkey selfie photograph featuring a Sulawesi crested black macaque.

Canvases of the photograph can be bought from Picanova by going to http://www.picanova.com/monkeyselfie/, with £1 from every sale going to the project. David’s donation of £506 comes partly from sales of the photo.

David said: “I hope that the money will help this vital project and will be directly useful to the people out there in the field in Sulawesi.” For more information go to: www.DJSPHOTOGRAPHY.CO.UK
