UK habitat protection and management

The WWCT owns three nature reserves Clennon Gorge (accessed from within the grounds of Paignton Zoo Environmental Park), Primley Park (a public open space in Paignton) and Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve (in South Devon). These sites are all managed as conservation areas for the protection of many rare and threatened species and habitats. In addition we are also continually improving ways to manage the zoo sites for the benefit of local plants and animals and to assist in conservation of our local coastal habitats.
