Selamatkan Yaki update
Published: 3 October 2018

This is Reyni writing on behalf the Selamatkan Yaki team. Thank you kindly for your thought, we are all safe and well here in North Sulawesi. We are located quite a distance with Palu in Central Sulawesi, around 381 miles away so didn't feel the quake and are not affected by the tsunami. Our thoughts are with the poor victims there during this devastating time for them. People in Indonesia have been impacted by this tragedy emotionally, though people are helping by collecting donations and goods to deliver to Palu. However, it will not have an impact upon our work and daily living.
We are also safe from the volcano eruption this morning which is located 49.3 miles from us.
